The distance traveled when 55 is paid:
Constant charge = 15 for the first Km.
The remaining amount = 55 - 15 = 40
40/8 = 5 km
Total :
5 + 1 = 6 km
The amount to be paid if it traveled 7km.
For the first 1 km = rs 15
Remaining distance = 7 - 1 = 6 km
The amount = 6 × 8 = 48
Rs 48 + 15 = 63
= Rs 63
