An auto driver moving with a speed of 36 km/h sees a child standing in the middle of the road. He
applies break and brings his vehicle to rest in 5 seconds just in time to save the child. If the total
mass of the auto and the driver be 450 kg then calculate the force of brakes.

Answer:

Here, u=36km/h = 36,000m/s

v= 0

t= 5sec

m= 450kg

Then,

F= ma

= m×v-u÷t

= 450×0-36,000÷5

= 450×(-36,000)÷5

= 450×(-7,200)

= - 3,240,000 N

hope it helps, plz mrk as the brainliest answer

Answer:

3240N

Explanation:

Initial velocity(u) =36km\hr

Final velocity (v) = 0 km\hr

Total mass= 450kg

Time taken = 5 sec

Acceleration(a) = [v- u] \t

=(-36)\5

Force = ma

= 450 × (-36)\5

= (-3240)NewtonN
