an automobile is running at speed of 60km/h .How much distance would it covers in 30s

Speed is 60km/hr which means that it will cover a distance of
60kms in 60 mins.
So, distance covered in 60 mins = 60kms
distance covered in 1min (60secs) = 1kms [60km/60min]
Hence, distance covered in 30 secs = 0.5 kms.

s = 60 km/h 
t = 30s 
d = s * t 
   = 60 * 30 
   = 1800km
