distance covered by auto = 380 km

time take to cover the distance = 8 hours

speed of any object = distance/time

so speed of the auto :

1) km/h = 380/8

= 47.5 km/h

2) m/s = 47.5*5/18

= 13.19 m/s

Given :-

Calculate the speed of autorickshaw in :

i) Km/h

ii) m/s

To Find :-

  • ➻ Speed = ?

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Solution :-

We know :

{\large{\red{\bigstar \:  \: {\orange{\underbrace{\underline{\blue{\bf{Speed =  \frac{Distance}{time} }}}}}}}}}

Speed in km/h :

Values :

  • ➵ Speed = ?
  • ➵ Distance = 380 km
  • ➵ Time = 8 hours

Speed :

{\longrightarrow{\sf{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  speed = \frac{380}{8} }}}

{\longrightarrow{\sf{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  speed = {\cancel\frac{380}{8} }}}}

{\large{\red{:{\longmapsto{\underline{\tt{47.5 km/h}}}}}}}

Speed in m/s :

Converting the values :

  • ➵ Speed = ?
  • ➵ Distance = 380 × 1000 = 380000 m
  • ➵ Time = 8 × 60 × 60 = 28800 s

Speed :

{\longrightarrow{\sf{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  speed  =  \frac{380000}{28800} }}}

{\longrightarrow{\sf{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  speed ={\cancel \frac{380000}{28800} }}}}

{\large{\red{:{\longmapsto{\underline{\tt{13.194 \: m/s}}}}}}}

Hence :

{\large{\purple{\underline{\pink{\textbf{Speed km/h = 47.5 km/h}}}}}}

{\large{\purple{\underline{\pink{\textbf{Speed m/s = 13.194 m/s}}}}}}
