For a concave mirror focal length is always negative

f=-20cm

As per the given condition

hi=2ho

Magnification is given by the formula

m=hi/ho=-v/u

2ho/ho=-v/u

v=-2u

Applying the mirror formula

1/f=1/v+1/u

1/-20=u-2u/-2u²(LCM)

1/-20=-u/-2u²

1/-20=1/2u

2u=-20

u=-10cm

v=-2u=-2(-10)=20cm

I hope this helps ( ╹▽╹ )
