given:
f=200cm
u=100cm
v=?
mirror formula:
1/f=1/u+1/v
by sign conventions:
1/200=1/-100+1/v
1/v=1/200+1/100
=3/200
v=200/3
=66.6cm
therefore the image is formed at 66.6cm behind the mirror and it is virtual image.
m=-v/u
=-66.6/-100 =66.6/100=0.66
∴The image is erect and smaller in size by a factor of 0.66

Given:

f=200cm

u=100cm

v=?

We know

1/f=1/u+1/v

1/200=1/-100+1/v

1/v= 1/200 - 1/-100

1/v=1/200+1/100

1/v=3/200

v=200/3 = 66.6cm

value is positive means

image formed

---------------------is 66.6 cm behind the mirror.

---------------------is Virtual

Magnification of the image is 0. .

m= -v/u

= -66.6/-100

=0.666

So

\large{\bold{\red{Image\: formed\:is}}}

\large{\bold{\blue{Virtual}}}

\large{\bold{\red{66.6cm\:Behind}}}

\large{\bold{\pink{Magnification=0.666}}}
