An easier Way to set up complicated calculation
Answers
There’s an easy mathematics trick to multiply any two digit number with 25. It is called 25s trick. Let me demonstrate it here.
Let’s say you want to multiply 24 with 25.
Its pretty tough to do without calculator right?
Then, here’s the trick:
First, divide the number you want to multiply with 25 by 4. For example:
Problem: 24 x 25.
Divide 24 by 4 to get 6.
Now add two zeroes in 6 which will be 600.
That’s it. 600 is the correct answer for 24 x 25.
Oh wait, but what if the number can’t be divided by 4?
No problem. Here’s the solution for that:
Suppose, If you want to multiply 21 with 25 then firstly divide that 21 with 4. Dividing 21 by 4, you will get 5.25. (Or, 5 and a remainder of 1)
Now remove that decimal point from 5.25, which will be 525.
That’s it. That’s the correct answer.
