A Visit To A Bakery
The students of our class were all excited, reason being our visit to Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd. on the outskirts of Delhi. Most of us are fond of biscuits, so we were looking forward to see how they are made. We sat in the bus and reached there in an hour and a half. We could easily make out that we had reached near the factory as the aroma of baked biscuits filled the air and our mouth started watering.
Our teacher approached the reception once we got off the bus and after completing a few formalities we were let in to see the factory in a queue. The automated system of making the dough, putting it in the molds, sending them into oven and then cooling tray was all beyond our imagination. We saw the processes for salty biscuits and cream biscuits as well. The packing section was also fascinating. As we moved around different units in the factory, we kept questioning our guide and he replied all our queries so well.
After visiting the various units, we were taken in the auditorium where we saw a documentary on the Parle Industries from the day of its inception. The best part of the visit was when we were served fresh biscuits of different kinds. We ate to our heart's content. The aroma and taste of those hot biscuits were something out of the world and each of usnsaid gladly, 'I'm lovin it."
