both of them would repel each other.


destroyer1654: as an ebonite rod is rubbed with fur it gets negatively charged and thus form a magnetic field near it by Faraday law.

Both ebonite rods are rubbed fur with having a similar charge (-ve charge). We know like chafes repel each other.

∴ Rods repel each other. 

Reason: Like charges REPEL each other.
