The distance of the cliff is 204 m at an interval of 1.2 second.

Explanation:

Given data:

Time "t" = 1.2 s

Speed of sound in air "s" = 340 m/s

Speed = distance/ time

340 m/s = distance/ 1.2 s

Distance = 340 m/s x 1.2 s = 408 m

Now,one way distance = distance/2 = 408/2 m = 204 m

Thus the distance of the cliff is 204 m
