An echo is heard in 0.08 s if the velocity of radio waves is 3×10*8 ms how far is the enemy plane?​

time of echo = v/2d

we take 2 times distance as echo is heard and sound takes time to travel the plane and from plane it reaches the observer.

0.08 = 3*10⁸/2d

d = 3*10⁸/0.16

d = 18.75*10⁸ m

SOLUTION

time ( t ) = 0.08 seconds

velocity of radio waves = 3×10^8m/s

distance ( d ) = t/2

= 3×10^8 × 0.08 /2

= 12000000 m

= 12000000 /1000

= 12000 km
