Hello friend
------------------
------------------

In the example,

Given:

Time,t = 3 second.

Speed of the sound,means the velocity=342m/s.

Distance = ??

So we know that,

Velocity = Distance/time

Distance = Velocity x time

Distance = 342 x 3

Distance = 1026m.

therefore the distance of the reflected surface from the source is 1026m.

I hope this will helps you.

Thanks.

t = 3 sec

v = 340 m/s

2d = v × t

= 340 × 3

= 1020 m

d = 1020 ÷ 2

= 510 metres

distance of the reflecting surface fro the source = 510 m
