distance=speed*time/2
=342*3/2
=171*3
=513

# Given-
T = 3 s
v = 342 m/s

# Solution-
Let s be distance of reflecting surface from source.

For an echo to return sound have to travel forth & back, that is 2s.

To calculate distance we have formula-
Distance = Velocity × time
2s = 342 × 3
s = 342 × 3 / 2
s = 513 m

Therefore, the distance of reflecting surface from source is 513 m.
