The possible right circular cone when cut out from a cube of side "r" cm would
have dimensions as
h = r cm
d = r cm
r' = r/2 cm
From these values we get,
Volume of Cylinder = 1/3 πr'²h
= 1/3 π × (r/2)² × r
= 1/3 π × r²/4 × r
= 1/12 × πr³
= πr³/12 cm³
So the volume of largest cone is πr³/12 cm³
have dimensions as
h = r cm
d = r cm
r' = r/2 cm
From these values we get,
Volume of Cylinder = 1/3 πr'²h
= 1/3 π × (r/2)² × r
= 1/3 π × r²/4 × r
= 1/12 × πr³
= πr³/12 cm³
So the volume of largest cone is πr³/12 cm³
