affect of air pollution on monuments:
1. burning of fossil fuels ,leaves, plastic releases carbon monoxide ,sulphur dioxide in air and when raindrops come in contact with these acidic gases then cause acid rain which is spoiling the beauty of Taj mahal .the beautiful white marble is turning faint yellowish!!
2.In Delhi ,the white marbled lotus temple built in 1986 also affected by air pollution the pristine marble is fading despite of regular maintenance.
3.char minar in Hyderabad is also loosing its beauty due to smoke,unburnt fuels and carbon dioxide.
every year India looses $45billion in order to repair and maintain our monuments.
