Answer: The total enrolled votes are  90,516

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total cast votes = x

Since, the voters who did not cast their votes = 50000

Thus, the total enrolled votes = (x+50000)

Now, 80 % of total cast votes are valid.

Valid votes = 80% of x = 0.8 x

The losing candidate got 18% of the total valid votes and 26% of the enrolled voters vote NOTA.

Hence, the losing candidate got votes = 18 % of 8x

= 0.144 x

And, the winning candidate got votes = 0.8x -( 0.144x + 26% 0f (x+5000))

= 0.8x - 0.144x - 0.26x - 130

= 0.396x - 130

According to the question,

(0.396x - 130) - 0.144x = 10080

⇒  0.252x - 130 = 10080 ⇒ 0.252 x = 10210 ⇒ x = 40,515.873

Hence, the total enrolled votes =  40,515.873 + 50000 = 90,515.873 ≈ 90,516
