Given :-

  • Power = 4.5 kW
  • Time = 1 hour 20 min = 1 ⅓ hour

To Find :-

Electrical energy consumed in

  • kWh
  • Joule

Solutuon :-

We know that,

Energy = Power × Time

Substituting the values :-

Energy = 4.5 × 1 ⅓

= 4.5 × 4 / 3

= 6

Electrical energy = 6 kWh

Now, converting into joule :-

1 kWh = 3.6 × 10⁶ J

6 kWh = 6 × 3.6 × 10⁶ J

= 21.6 × 10⁶

= 2.16 × 10⁷

Electrical energy = 2.16 × 10⁷ J
