i = 0.2 A
v= 220v
t = 1h=60×60sec = 3600s
Q = ?
i = q/ t
0.2 = q /3600
q= 0.2 ×3600
q = 720C

The amount of electric charge flowing through it in 1 hour is 720 Coulomb.

Given:

The current drawn by the electric bulb, I = 0.2 A (Ampere)

The voltage, v = 220 v (Volts)

The amout of electric charge for one hour, Q = ? (Coulomb)

Solution:

Time, t = 1h

=60\times 60\quad sec

= 3600 s

We know that,

I=\frac { Q }{ t }

0.2=\frac { Q }{ 3600}

Q= 0.2\times 3600

= 720 C

Amount of electric charge for one hour, Q = 720 Coulomb.
