Given :-

  • Current (I) = 0.25 A

  • Time (t) = 20 min = 20 × 60 = 1200 sec

To find :-

  • The electric charge that flows through the circuit.

Solution :-

we know that,

\blue{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\red{I=\dfrac{Q}{t}}}}}

  • Current (I)
  • charge (Q)
  • time (t)

Putting all the values in this formula,

\rm\longrightarrow\:0.25=\dfrac{Q}{1200}

\rm\longrightarrow\:Q=0.25\times{1200}

\rm\longrightarrow\:Q=300\:C

Hence,the electric charge flow through the circuit will be 300 coulombus.

More Information :-

There are two types of charge :-

  • Positive charge
  • Negative charge

Properties of electric charges :-

  • Opposite charges or unlike charges attract each other.

  • Similar charges or like charges repel each other.

The SI unit of electric charge is column which is denoted by the letter C.
