Power = VI = 250 * 0.8 = 200 W = 0.2 kW

Power consumed per day = 0.2kW * 8hr = 1.6 kWh
Power consumed for 30 days = 1.6kW * 30 = 48 kWh

Monthly bill = 3 * 48 = ₹144

Given: V = 250 V, I = 0.8 A

Using,

P=V x I

=250x0.8

=200W

=0.2kW

Power consumed in a day=0.2 x 8

=1.6kWh

For one month,P=1.6 x30

=48kWh

Monthly bill=48x3=Rs 144
