Current(I) = 0.8A
Voltage(V) = 250V
So, Power(P) = V×I
= (250×8)/10
= 200W
Simply,Power consumed by bulb is 200W.There's no need of time here.

0.2 Kilowatts

Given:

Current in Amperes = 0.8

Number of Volts = 250 Volts

Time = 8 hours

To Find:

The power that is consumed by the bulb.

Calculating:

Formula that is used to calculate power:

Power = V x I

Substituting the values known to us in this formula we get:

Power = 0.8 x 250

Power = 200 Watts

The SI Unit of power is represented by Watts.

It was found by the famous scientist James Watt so the SI unit is named after his last name.

Converting the power to Kilowatts by dividing by 1000:

= 200 / 1000

= 0.2 KW

Therefore, the power consumed by the bulb is 0.2 Kilowatts.
