Explanation:

For the 1st bulb, it's just simply 220v x 0.5A = 110 watts. For the 2nd bulb, 5v x 0.5A = 2.5 watts. Resistance is 5v / 0.5A = 10 ohms

Answer:-

  • Potential Difference=V=220V
  • Current=I=0.5A
  • Resistance=R=?
  • Power=P=?

According to ohms law

\boxed{\sf \dfrac{V}{I}=R}

\\ \rm\longmapsto Resistance=\dfrac{220}{0.5}

\\ \rm\longmapsto Resistance=440\Omega

\\ \underline{\boxed{\bf{\therefore Resistance=440Ω}}}

Now

\boxed{\sf P=VI}

\\ \rm\longmapsto Power=220\times 0.5

\\ \rm\longmapsto Power=110W

\\ \underline{\boxed{\bf{\therefore Power=110W}}}
