P=VI

200=220×I

200/220=I

20/22=I

so,the current drawn by the bulb is 20/22 A

When the bulb is operated at 110V

P=VI

P=110×20/22

P=2200/22

P=100

So,when the bulb will be operated on 110V the power consumed by the bulb will be 100W

hope it helps...

Answer:

When the bulb is operated on 110Volt, the power consumed will be equal to 100W.

Explanation:

We have given,

When the applied voltage of an electric bulb = 220V

Then the power consumed by an electric bulb = 200W

We know the relation between voltage and power:

Power, P = VI                                                            ....................(1)

Substitute the value of 'P' and 'V' in equation (1);

200=220*I

I=\frac{200}{220}

I=\frac{10}{11}A

Therefore, the current flows in electric bulb, I=\frac{10}{11}A

Now, if the bulb operated at voltage, V' = 110 Volt

Then power becomes , P' = V'I

P'= (100)*\frac{10}{11}

P' =100\;W

Therefore, if the voltage drops from 220V to 110V then power consumed will be change from 200 watt to 100 watt.
