An electric bulb is rated 220V and 100W. When it is operated on 110V thè power consumed will be??
PLZ SOLVE IT USING THE FORMULA P=VI

P=100 W

V=110 V

P=VI

SO .. I=P/V

I=100/200

I=0.5 A

SO WITH THE V=110 V

P=VI

V= 110 V

I= 0.5 A

SO... P=55 W

I case: given that pd= 220v and power= 100w

firstly we have to find current that is flowing on that circuit.

we know that I= P/V

therefore,

I= 100/220 = 0.45A

II case: when it is operated with potential difference of 110V

given,

I= 0.45A, p.d= 110v, p=?

P= VI

P= 110×0.45

P= 49.5W

hence answer is 49.5w
