We know that, (P = I V)(I is current)
Power = [(Voltage)^2]/(Resistance)
100 = [(200)^2]/Resistance
Resistance = 40000/100
Resistance = 400 ohm
Power = [(Voltage)^2]/(Resistance)
100 = [(200)^2]/Resistance
Resistance = 40000/100
Resistance = 400 ohm
sanjay270899:
P = I V and V = I R from this we get P = (V^2)/R

Resistance
= (Voltage rating of an appliamce)^2
_____________________________
Power rating of an appliance
=. (200*200)/100
=. 40000/100
=. 400 ohm or omega
