An electric bulb is rated at220v and 100w when it is operated on 110v then power consumed will be...???

The power of the electric bulb(P) = 100w
Voltage(V) =220V
P=V^2/R (where R is resistance)
=>R=V^2/P
=>R=220×220/100
=484 ohm
Resistance =484 ohm
Voltage=110V
Power=V^2/R
=110×110/484
=25W
