Power of bulb = 1000W
= 1KW
and,
time used,t = 2 hours
Therefore,
Energy = Power × Time
= 1KW × 2 hours
= 2 KWh
= 2 'units'
So,it uses 2 units per day.
Hence,
In 30 days, it consumed the energy of = 30 × 2 units
= 60 units (KWh).
