An electric bulb of 60 watt is used for 6hr per day calculate the units of energy consumed in one day

Here, it has been said to calculate the energy consumed in unit. Its mean, we have to calculate the electrical energy in kilowatt-hours (kWh). So first we will convert the power of 60 watt into kilowatts by dividing it by 1000. That is,
                                                                   Power, P = 60 watts
                      =60/1000                                                           
                                                                                  = 0.06 kilowatts
                                                                     And, time, t = 6 h

The formula for calculating power is given as,
power=energy consumed/time taken
or, Energy consumed = Power ×Time taken
                                   =0.06×6=0.36kWh

So, 0.36 unit of energy is consumed by the electric bulb in one day.
