Energy consumed by bulb in one day = 8 × 5 = 40Watt hour

Energy consumed by bulb in 30 days = 40 × 30 = 1200 Watt Hour = 1.2 KW hour

Hlo friend..Cutiepie Here .

Here is ur answer :

Power P of electric bulb = 8 Watt = 8/1000 kW

No.Of hours lighted = 5 hour per day.

Energy e consumed by bulb in 1 day :

power =  \frac{energy}{time}

energy \:  = power \times time

e \:  =  \:  \frac{8}{1000}  \times 5

e =  \frac{40}{1000}

e =  \frac{4}{100}

e = 0.04 \: kwh

Energy consumed in 30 days = 30 × 0.04

= 1 . 2 kWh.

1 unit = 1 kWh

In 30 days, 1.2 units will be consumed.
