Answer:

The resistance of bulb is 400 ohm ,

The energy consumed by three such bulb is 3000 joule

Explanation:

Given as :

rating of electric bulb

Voltage = 200 v,

Power rating = p = 100 watt

Let The resistance =  R ohm

According to question

Power = \dfrac{voltage^{2} }{Resistance}

100 = \dfrac{200^{2} }{R}

or, R = \dfrac{200^{2} }{100}

∴   R = 400 ohm

So, The resistance of bulb = R = 400 ohm

Again

Three 100 watts bulb glow for 10 hours

Let The energy consumed by bulbs = E joule

So, As the bulbs connected in parallel

So, Total power = P = P_1 + P_2 + P_3

Or, P = 100 w + 100 w + 100 w

power consumed = 300 watt

Now,

Energy consumed = Power × time

i.e E = 300 × 10

Energy = 3000 joule .

Hence, The resistance of bulb is 400 ohm ,

And The energy consumed by three such bulb is 3000 joule . Answer
