Given that,

Electric current, I = 2 A

The resistance of the coil, R = 10 ohms

Time, t = 10 min

To find,

The amount of heat produced.

Solution,

The amount of heat produced in an electrical device is given by the formula as follows :

H=I^2Rt

t is time in seconds, t = 10 min = 600 seconds

So,

H=2^2\times 10\times 600\\\\H=24000\ J\\\\H=24\ kJ

So, 24 kJ of heat is produced. Hence, this is the required solution.
