capacity of fuse = 3A

In the Given circuit;

• P = 1kW = 1000W
• V = 220V

Thus by using P = VI we get ;

$1000 = 220 \times I \\ I = \frac{1000}{220} \\ I = \frac{100}{22} = 4.54 \: A$

Since the current flowing in the circuit is more than the capacity of the fuse

Thus fuse will melt and circuit will break.
