An electric heater draws 0.5A of current from a 220 V source. What current will the heater draws if the source voltage is decreased to 110 V.​

V = I * R

110V = 5A * R

Therefore, R= 110/5 Ohms = 22 Ohms

220V = I * 22 {R= 22 ohms from equation (i)}

I = 220V/22Ohms = 10 A
