Answer :-

₹ 3,960

Given:-

I = 10A

V = 220v

1 unit = ₹2.50

Solution :-

FIrst we have to calculate the power of electric heater.

The formula for power is :-

\boxed{\sf{P = V. I}}

 P = 220 \times 10

 P = 2200

1 kw = 1000w

 P = \dfrac{2200}{1000}

 P = 2.2 kw

Now, electrical energy consumed is given by :-

\boxed{\sf{ E = P. T. N }}

where, n is no. of days

E = 2.2 \times 24 \times 30

 E = 1584 kwh

we know that,

1 kwh = 1 unit

1 unit cost = ₹ 2.50

 therefore Cost = 1584 × 2.50

= ₹ 3,960
