Calculate the power of the heater

GIVEN–

Potential Difference(V) = 220V

Current (I) = 10A

Now,

P = V × I

P = 220×10

P = 2200W.

=> 220/1000kW

=> 2.2kW

We have

Power (P) =2.2kW

Time (T) = 5h

Electric energy consumed in one day

E = P × T

=> 2.2 × 5

=> 11 kWh

Electric energy consumed in 30 days

=> 11 × 30

So,

Cost of 330 units of electricity = Rs.5.20 × 330
