An electric heater draws a current of 5A when connected to 220V mains. calculate the resistance of its coil

we know that resistance R = V/I
                        
 .......> R = resistance 
........>V= potential 
........>I= current
 

it is given that current , I= 5A
 potential difference, V = 220V

we have to find out the resistance R

so, by substituting the given values in the equation we get, 

R= V/ I

R= 220/ 5

R= 44Ω


So, when 5 A current flows through a wire of resistance 5 ohms and whose potential difference is 220 V
