Solution :-

The electrical energy consumed by an electrical appliance is given by the product of its power rating and the time for which it is used. .i.e.,

➠ Energy = Power x time

➠ Energy =1.5 × 10

➠ Energy = 15kWh

thus, the energy consumed by the heater in 10hrs is 15kWh.
