Answer:

15000

Explanation:

Energy consumed by an electric heater can be obtained with the help of the expression, P= W/T Where, Power rating of the heater, P= 1500 W = 1.5 kW Time for which the heater has operated, T= 10 h Work done = Energy consumed by the heater Therefore, energy consumed = Power — Time = 1.5 — 10 = 15 kWh Hence, the energy consumed by the heater in 10 h is 15 kWh.

Hope it helps

GiveN :-

  • Power = 1500 w

  • Time = 1 hr

To FinD :-

  • Work done by the electric heater

SolutioN :-

Work = Power × Time

→ Work = 1500 × 1

→ Work = 1500 watt-hour

Now

1 watt-hour = 3600 joule

1500 watt-hour = 1500 × 3600

→ 5400000

→ 54 × 10⁵ joule
