Answer:-

E = 1,800,000J

Or, 1800 KJ

Given :-

p = 500 w

v = 200v

t = 1 h

3600 s

To find :-

The energy consumed :-

SOLUTION:-

The energy consumed by electric heater is given by :-

 \huge \boxed {E = p \times t}

Put the given value,

 E = 500 \times 3600

 E = 1,800,000 j

To convert it in to kJ

To convert it in to kJ1 KJ = 1000 J

 E = \dfrac{1,800,000}{1000}

 E = 1800 kJ

hence,

The energy consumed is 1800 kJ.
