As we know P = V×I

So, P = 220 × 5 = 1100 watts = 1.1 kW
Total units for 1 hr = 1.1 kW × 1 hr = 1.1 kWh = 1.1 units.

Now if 1 unit costs Rs 6

Then 1.1 units will cost Rs (1.1×6) = Rs 6.6

Hope it helps

mohammedsafwansyed: you did not convert to Kwh which is important therefore the ans is 6.6 rs
26Apoorv: Well that changes the whole question. thanks
26Apoorv: But time isnt given and so I think the unit here doesnt refer to kwh. So it is right I think
26Apoorv: Ok I found my mistake now
26Apoorv: Corrected

As per formula P=V*I

So,220*5

1100w

1.1KWH

IF ONE UNIT COST IS 6 THEN

1.1*6

6.6 IS ANS
