energy consumed by heater of 1000W for 2h in one day=1000/1000×2 =2units
number of units=W×h×day/1000
energy consumed by heater in 28 day
2×28=56units
cost of 1unit =RS 3
cost of 56unit=3×56=RS 168

Rs. 168 would be the cost for using it for a month of 28days.

Explanation:

Power = 1000W or 1 KW

As we know,

1 unit of electricity = 1KWh

To calculate the energy consumed per day = P * T

= 1KW * 2h

= 2KWh

Total energy consumed in 28days = 2 * 28

= 56KWH

Cost of 1 KWh(1 unit) = Rs. 3

∵ Total cost of 56KWh of energy = 56 * 3

= Rs. 168
