Here it is given that,

An electric iron has

Power = 1000 watt

Time = 10 hour

As we have to find the energy which is consumed by the 10 hour,

By converting the watt into kilowatt,

=>1000 watt = 1 kilowatt       ....(divide the value of power by 1000)

We have the formula,

Energy = Power × Time

The energy which is consumed by the 10 hour,

=>1 kw × 10

=>10 kWh

Hence, the energy which is consumed by the 10 hour is 10 kWh.
