Given:-

  • Power of iron (P) = 750W.

  • Potential difference (V) = 220 V

To Find:-

  • Current passing through it (I).

  • Resistance (R).

Solution:-

As we know that

P = V×I

→ I = P/v

here

I is the current passing

P is the power

v is the potential difference

Substitute the value we get

→ I = 750/220

→ I = 3.40A

And

→ R = V/I

Substitute the value we get

→ R = 220/3.40

→ R = 64.70 ohm.

The Resistance of the iron is 64.70 ohm and The current passing through it is 3.40 Ampere.
