Power of heating device is B. 300 Watt

Given - Resistance and current

Find - Power

Solution - Power, current and resistance are related to each other by the formula -

Power = Current²×Resistance

Keep the values in formula to find the value of power

Power = 7.75²×5

Taking square of the current to find the value of power

Power = 60.06×5

Performing multiplication to find the value of power

Power = 300.3

Rounding off the power, we get the value 300 Watt.

Hence, the power of this heating device if current flowing through it is 7.75 A is B. 300 Watt
