Given :-

  • Current (I) = 5 A

  • Resistance (R) = 20 Ω

  • Time (t) = 30 sec

To find :-

  • Heat developed in 30 sec

Solution :-

we know that,

\gray{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\green{H={I}^{2}\times\:R\times\:t}}}}

\rm\longrightarrow\:H={(5)}^{2}\times\:20\times\:30

\rm\longrightarrow\:H=25\times\:20\times\:30

\rm\longrightarrow\:H=15000\:J

Hence,the heat developed in 30 sec will be 15000 joules.

Heating effect of current :- when an electric current is passed through a high resistance wire like nichrome wire,the resistance wire become very hot and produce heat.This is called the heating effect of current.
