An electric iron of resistance 20ohm take a current 5A .Calculate the heat develops in 30s?

Given, resistance R = 20ohm

current I = 5A & time T = 30s


Therefore ,

according to joules law of heating

H = I^2 × R × T

=> H = 5^2 × 20 × 30

=> H = 25 × 600

=> H = 15000 joules
