☀️ Given that: An electric iron of resistance 25 ohm takes a current of 7 A.

Need to find: The heat developed in 0.5 min

Must know:

  • Formula to find voltage is V = IR

Where,

I is current

R is resistance

  • According to the Joule's law of heating ⇒ H = VIt

Where,

H is heat

V is voltage

t is time

Solution:

  • Finding voltage-

→ 7 × 25

→ 175V

  • Finding Heat developed-

→ 175 × 7 × 0.5

→ 612.5 J

→ 6.125 × 10² J

⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Henceforth, the heat developed is 6.125 × 10² J
