An electric iron rated as 750W and 220V. calculate that-
i) Current flowing through it
ii) It's resistance when in use​

(i) Power = Voltage × Current

Let, the current passing through the bulb be I

                     750    =   220 X I

                       I        =    750 / 220

                                =     3.41 A

Therefore, 3.41 A current passes through the electric iron.

(ii) Electric power is related to voltage and resistance as:

      Power =  (Voltage) power 2 / R

          R      =  220 x 220 / 750

                  =   64 .53 ohm

Therefore, the electric iron offers 64.53Ω resistance when in use.
