The value of current and the power rating of the electric kettle .
Solution :
Let the current be I and power be P .
Voltage = ( current ) * ( resistance )
now ,
240 V = I * 30 ohm
=> I = ( 240 / 30 ) A
=> I = 8 A
Power = ( Voltage * Voltage ) / ( resistance )
=> P = ( 240 * 240 ) / 30 W
=> P = 1920 W
The value of current is 8 A and the power rating of the electric kettle is 240 V , 1920 W .
