an electric kettle of 400 W is used to heat water everyday for 2.5 hours calculate the number of units of electrical energy consumed by it in 20 days in KWH and in joules​

= 0.4kW

Time used, t = 2.5 h

ENERGY used in= power × time taken

1 day = 0.4×2.5

= 1 kWh

= 1 unit.

Energy used in 20 days = 20kWh

= 20 units.
